Come! Join us and celebrate the “Feast of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple” also known as “Candlemas”, based on the account of the Presentation of Jesus in the Gospel according to St. Luke 2:22 – 40, on Friday the 2^nd of February 2024 at 6.00pm.

After celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus for forty days, this feast also marks the end the Christmas Season. It is because we are still in the season of Christmas we still have the crib at the entrance of the Cathedral. As we move from the crib to the cross we go out carrying the light of Christ’s love to the world.

The service includes the blessing of candles and candlelight procession.
