Children’s Day

Children’s day was celebrated at the Cathedral on 6th of October 2019. On this day the Sunday school children lead the congregation in worship by reading all Bible passages, leading the intercessions and offering the elements. The students dressed in blue and white presented a brief history of Children’s day and sang a beautiful song - ‘Ten thousand reasons (Bless the Lord)’. The day was more meaningful as the Sunday school teachers were brought up to the sanctuary to be blessed by the children with 6th October being also commemorated as Teacher’s Day.
